    Credit Controller

    Job Description
    The purpose of the role is collection of debtors funds within corporate guidelines, developing strong customer relationships and striving to protect the financial integrity of the PPECB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • To ensure PPECB’s credit and collection policies and procedures are adhered to.
    • To oversee the collection of customer accounts in a manner that ensures high customer satisfaction.
    • To facilitate query management to ensure collection of revenue and customer satisfaction.
    • To ensure and maintain good relationships by supporting internal & external stakeholders.
    • To ensure accounts are reconciled for accuracy of allocation to reduce the exposure of potential short over payment.
    • Reporting to ensure overall targets are met to minimize risk.

    Requirements

    Qualifications Essential

    • Grade 12 or equivalent Desirable
    • Degree/Diploma: Finance and Administration

    Experience Essential

    • Credit control working experience within a medium size organisation
    • Experience working with Accounting and Financial systems
    • Customer service/customer relations experience
    • Experience reconciling debtors' accounts
    • Time Span 2 - 5 Years

    Knowledge Essential

    • Knowledge of relevant Legislation (National Credit Act; POPIA)
    • Understanding of PFMA and National Treasury Regulations

    Technical Skills/Functional Skills Essential

    • Numerical skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and MS Teams
    • Checking skills and attention to detail
    • Financial and business acumen
    • Communication skills

    Desirable

    • Presentation skills
    • Digital literacy including ERP / Financial systems
