    Creative Director

    About the role

    • The creative director will oversee all these positions and ensures each team member works together to meet project goals and objectives.
    • The creative director may also work closely with project managers, account executives, and other business leaders to ensure the creative work aligns with overall business objectives and client needs. Ultimately, the creative director creates a cohesive, collaborative, innovative team that produces high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations.
    • As a creative director, the primary responsibility is to oversee and guide the creative development of a project or brand.
    • This involves leading a team of designers, writers, and other creatives in developing ideas, concepts, and designs that align with the overall vision and goals of the project or client. In addition to managing the creative team, the creative director also works closely with other departments, such as marketing, production, and project management, to ensure that all aspects of the project are cohesive and aligned.

    What you will bring

    • Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role
    • Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
    • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
    • Outstanding leadership and organization skills
    • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
    • BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset

    What you will be doing

    You will be responsible for the following:

    • Be a creative and innovative thinker who can execute on vision.
    • Developing and maintaining brand standards and guidelines.
    • Conducting research and analysis to inform creative decisions.
    • Pitching and presenting creative concepts to clients and stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with external partners such as agencies, freelancers, or vendors.
    • Staying current on industry trends and best practices.
    • Conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and overseeing them to completion.
    • Collaborating with account executives to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements.
    • Directing and motivating teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters etc. to help them use their talents effectively.
