    Cost Engineer - Site Based

    Is this you?

    • You have a decade of experience in cost engineering, particularly within large construction projects in the civil, earthmoving, or mining industries. Are you skilled in financial management and cost estimation software, with a knack for setting up and managing cost control systems? You’re an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-cultural environments.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of managing the financial aspects of a major infrastructure project. You’ll develop detailed cost estimates, establish and manage project budgets, and implement cost control procedures to ensure financial efficiency. Your role will involve preparing regular financial reports and evaluating the financial impact of project changes. You’ll also collaborate with clients at a senior level, ensuring transparent communication and effective management of financial concerns. Working within a diverse team, you’ll leverage cross-cultural perspectives to drive successful project outcomes.

    • To succeed in this role, you’ll need a minimum of 10 years of experience in cost engineering within large construction projects. Proficiency in cost estimation and financial management software is essential. You’ll also need strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in cost control. Experience working in a cross-cultural environment will be crucial, as you’ll be part of a diverse team tackling complex challenges.
