Control Room Operator - Gauteng at Servest SA

Minimum Requirements    

• Gr A.
• Advanced Computer Literacy and report writing skills.
• Gr 12.
• Holder of a HIRA certificate.
• First Aid level 2 and Basic Firefighting.
• Minimum of 5 years Surveillance \ Control room experience in the mining Security sector.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills in English.
• Proven track record in Surveillance monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Data capturing (Reports and Incidents)
• Monitoring of alarm-based applications.
• Monitoring of live streaming CCTV.
• Daily CCTV and other system checks (ensure all cameras and monitoring systems are fully functional)
• Filing of relevant documentation
• Communicating relevant information regarding movements on and offsite.
• Communicate with armed response and field supervisors regarding detailed information where needed.
• Ensure familiarity with all the monitoring systems deployed in the control room
• Ensure that customer service levels are exceptional and that internal customers receive exceptional service.
• Ensure that control room equipment is looked after and kept in good working order and that damages or equipment failures are reported to the Site Manager immediately.
• Ensure that technical requests for assistance are well coordinated and  communicated.
• Online Checklists are done per shift
• WhatsApp groups are updated per shift
