Job Summary

Writers work with in established, ad-hoc product, or service teams to solve customer experience problems holistically through the skills of their discipline and their understanding of customer behaviour.
 
Writers maintain and challenge the established standards in their discipline.
 

• They participate in project definition, not simply executing on a project, but also working with design leaders to shape the approach and structure of a project. A successful writer is a self-starters with a passion for high quality writing and the expertise in implementing high quality, considered writing. They have a strong track record of delivering complex, creative and innovative design projects that elevate the customer experience.

Job Description

Accountabilities:

• Create persuasive, effective and exciting content within one or several projects, to improve customer experience, engage and retain customers, and guide aspired behaviours, in order to deliver against defined business objectives 
• Execute against the business, customer experience and content strategy within the project or a specific customer journey, providing high quality content-driven solutions to business and customer problems; adopt and influence good content creation practices within the project to enable consistent content quality.
• Deliver continuous incremental improvements in the way Absa communicates and engages with its customers, delivering innovative, persuasive and creative messages that drive the aspired customer behaviour and improve customer experience
• Share successful content solutions and practices within and outside of the project; contribute to building Absa's knowledge base and evangelise customer-centricity  within the project.
• Scope, sequence and execute high quality content work within a project ensuring a data-driven approach, customer and business impact, and a timely delivery of agreed outputs.
• Promote specialist development of the individual junior writers through one on one mentoring. Share specialist knowledge with peers in group settings.

Education

• Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (Required)
