    Consultant K4, SAP HCM Functional, Payroll

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • The SAP HCM Payroll Consultant K4 works on a global SAP HCM system and specialises in providing functional support, across all countries. The Consultant works with the lead in consulting with stakeholders in providing best practise, fit-for-purpose, customer centric solutions. Assists in ensuring all changes are aligned to the Standard Bank Global template. This includes requirement gathering, configuration, testing and all related steps of the system development life cycle.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum qualifications

    • BCom Information Systems or related qualification.
    • SAP HR certification configuration.


    Experience required

    •     Minimum 3 -4 years Specialist experience in SAP HCM.
    •     Experience working on SAP HC across Africa and Internationally, namely South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Namibia, Mauritius, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Kenya, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Great Britain, Isle of Man, Jersey.
    •     Prior experience with SAP HCM support and configuration, specifically Payroll and master data.
    •     Proven experience in the completion of at least 1 SAP HCM Project implementation.
    •     Must have the ability to configure SAP Payroll rules and schemas, Features.
    •     Support of Bank and FI Processing.
    •     Sound understanding of integration between SAP HCM Modules.
    •     Experience in SAP HC Payroll Support role.

    •     Requirements Elicitation - Understanding of the practice of obtaining the requirements of a system from users, customers and other stakeholders and the ability to identify the different elicitation techniques and when to use them. 
    •     Refactoring - The ability to revise existing code without impacting its functional behaviour. 
    •     Systems Design - The specification and design of information systems, their components and architecture to meet defined business needs. 
    •     Quality Assurance - The process of ensuring that the agreed quality standards within an organization are adhered to and that best practice is promulgated throughout the organization.
