Condition Monitor: Site Global Grade 09 - Namakwa at Barloworld Equipment

Key Outputs

• Provide technical assistance to the planner and supervisor related to indicative and preventative maintenance in terms of content and execution.
• Manage scheduled oil sampling data and recommend preventative maintenance
• interventions.
• Manage and Interpret VIMS data reports relating to machine health information to ensure prompt recommendations.
• Monitor and report on site severity and operational issues.
• Advise internal customers on equipment reliability and diagnostics.
• Compile weekly reliability KPI reports.
• Compile preliminary data report for component root cause analysis
• Manage and enrolment machine connectivity and subscriptions.
• Liaise with product support, sales, service to drive digital excellence targets.
• Maintain Subscription level accuracy, Manage all customer Data consent.
• Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership.
• Perform machine, undercarriage, bucket and GET inspections.
• Monitor equipment performance and evaluate equipment history and failure trends to determine sources
• of poor component performance.
• Initiate and Supporting RCA sessions where there are significant reliability problems. Develop
• corrective actions and track results to successful conclusion. Compile reports for defining reliability
• problems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Analysis of machine KPI’s received from on-board and off board tools with focus on customer operations
• and events.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade 12
• 5 years Diesel or Earthmoving experience (trade certificate NQF3 mechanic)
• Sound machine and component operation knowledge.
• Valid Code B license.
• Analytical ability & experience.
• Good working knowledge of the MHS Act (with sound knowledge of safety rules and regulations)
• Sound business communication and presentation skills.
• Sound technical report writing skills and MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to network and building relationships.
• Exposure in a mining/condition monitoring environment will be and added advantage
