    Communication CoOrdinator - Sandton

    Role Purpose    

    • To develop and execute the Admed brand, marketing and communication strategy in line with the overall Admed strategy and ensure that all internal and external Admed communication is accurate, easy to understand, and complies with legislation, brand and tone.

    Requirements    

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree in Marketing or Communications)
    • At least 2 years experience in advertising, internal communications, website and all forms of communication
    • Experience of marketing in an insurance industry
    • A portfolio of work that demonstrates creative and copywriting ability

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Creating and driving marketing and communication campaigns for the Admed product
    • Providing support to communication campaigns across the various white-labelled gap products including MedGap, Crue, GapShield, Momentum GapCover and any other white-label arrangement entered into by Guardrisk
    • Arrange all broker and staff functions during the year
    • Ensuring that all communication material across the various channels and white-labelled products (digital, print material, website, etc) is clear, consistent, of the highest quality, in accordance with the Guardrisk Corporate Identity and compliant with all relevant legislation
    • Planning, creating and managing the annual renewal launch programme, including event management, venue sourcing and booking, execution of theme, invitation and RSVP management, catering coordination, coordination on day of the event, liaison with 3rd party suppliers, sourcing gifts, management of the budget, ordering of marketing material, stock management and time management
    • Content generation and creative writing (newsletters, terms and conditions documents, website and other digital channel, client communication, presentations, etc), including copywriting and editing
    • Coordinate content sign-off with all relevant internal or external stakeholders (legal, compliance, market conduct, etc)
    • Where necessary, arranging translation of material from English to Afrikaans
    • Providing support for any above or below-the-line marketing campaigns
    • Managing deadlines and production processes, including managing and coordinating suppliers, as well as providing regular feedback and reporting to the management team
    • Managing version control of all marketing material distributed
    • Maintaining all group scheme and member policyholder communication including employer renewal letters, member renewal letters, group scheme schedules of benefit and welcome letters, member certificates and welcome letters, and all relevant legislated disclosures
    • Maintaining and auditing of all automated message templates on Admeds system (OWLS) and updating where necessary
    • Managing Admed’s CSI program, You Care We Care programme
    • Ensuring that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly, and specifically TCF Outcomes 3 (clear information) and 5 (products perform as clients have been led to expect), are practised and achieved in all communication to Admed prospective customers, customers, business partners and distribution partn
