    Commercial Systems and Analytics Manager

    Key responsibilities

    • Data and system support for all categories, brands and channels of trade, business size of  >R4B business.
    • Centre of excellence for data management, data deployment, analytics and enabling technologies.   Delivers data systems and analytics to the organization to inform decisions.  Provides lead and lag metrics to drive accountability and validate / optimize strategies.
    • Delivers the information at pace using Power BI and other tools in partnership with Tech and Central Business Intelligence team.
    • Secondary analytic & insights support across all categories, brands and trade channels, partnering with Central Business Intelligence team and various 3rd party data providers.
    • Shopper Analytic
    • Business partner for TECH to understand organizational needs, system assessment, development, enhancement, and deployment to respective teams. Ensures company maximises the value derived from data and technology. 
    • Uses appropriate internal and external data sources to conduct robust analysis and develop knowledge and insights on key dynamics, trends, and customer needs.
    • Proactively utilises insights to identify opportunities and develop actionable, relevant recommendations that drive performance.
    • Uncovers and predicts future trends that can be used to develop plans that will deliver against business objectives.
    • Uses appropriate data sources to understand shopper behavior, drivers and barriers to purchase across the total path to purchase in a connected world, including digital and physical touchpoints.
    • Uncovers actionable insights that are used to develop or localize category strategies, develop category activation platforms, and create shopper solutions that deliver business objectives and maximize shopper experience.

    Qualifications and skills

    Required

    • A university degree, or equivalent.
    • 2 years analytics and commercial technology business partnership experience within the FMCG industry
    • Power BI Experience
    • Experience working with Circana, Shopper Data platforms, Nielsen, Data Orbis, Customer Portal data etc.

    Other Skills/Qualifications

    • Strong commercial understanding / experience.
    • Expert in Analytical and problem solving.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Numeracy and finance skills.
    • Works effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
