    Commercial Manager Ammonia Derivatives

    Overview    

    • The Commercial manager plans, directs, procures and coordinates the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the customer. Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, goals and establish training programs for the sales team. The Commercial Manager participates in sales, business development and principal management. The Commercial manager further analyses market insights gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. This role is responsible for the sales of the SBS and fiscal metrics thereof.

    Qualifications    

    • University (First Degree) in Commercial or Sales and Marketing
    • Commercial Qualification will be an added advantage

    Experience    

    • Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level
    • 6 to 10 Years experience in the Product value chain (inclusive of Supply Chain and Procurement elements of the business)
    • Must have Operations and Sales experience at a Managerial Level
    • Must have experience in Managing multiple Stakeholders

    Duties    

    • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities or other subjects of sale
    • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales, procurement, and service
    • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
    • Collaborate with sales and procurement teams across the Omnia Group
    • Determine price schedules and discount rates
    • Prepare budgets and budget expenditures
    • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales and procurement efforts
    • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales, procurement and service programs
    • Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales, procurement, and service accounting and record-keeping, and in receiving and shipping operations
    • Direct clerical staff to keep records of export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections, and to maintain current information on tariffs, licenses, and restrictions
    • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products
    • Direct foreign sales and service outlets of an organization
    • Manages value chain end to end
