    Commercial Director

    What you can expect

    • The successful incumbent will be responsible for representing Cross Business Units in Country Cluster Southern Africa. Coordinates, leads and drives the Cross Business Unit´s sales community in administrative needs, coaching, tools implementation, and team development, while actively engaging in customer-facing activities.

    Duties will include the following:

    • Promote the company's strategy, sustainability, and business development within the Country Cluster Southern Africa, fostering alignment among the Business Units
    • Optimize processes, strategize and achieve sales targets and priorities, and foster seamless collaboration with other units to ensure efficient operations
    • Foster cross Business Unit activities to leverage opportunities and effectively serve local customers
    • Engage with Business Development/Sustainability community to implement critical projects and improve business-critical processes and services
    • Support Market Area Africa leadership activities, Grow Europe 2.0. EMEA roadmap and Grow Africa 2.0
    • Contribute to budgeting, target-agreement, and performance-appraisal processes for local sales team with Business Unit Management
    • Promote initiatives aimed at improving KPIs, key account plans, and overall commercial excellence
    • Foster collaboration, trust, agility, and continuous improvement, adhering to company values
    • Facilitate the exchange of best practices with other Market Area/Country Clusters

    What we expect

    • Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant field
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Market Development, coupled with at least 5 years of leadership and management experience
    • Strong sales management skills
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Preferably, experience working in multicultural environments
