Commercial Coordinator at AECI Limited

Job Description    

• Facilitate the inter depot movement of stock
• Obtain transport quotations for deliveries to Crop Advisers and customers
• Follow up and ensure product are delivered to Customers and Crop Advisers
• Assist with all Crop Advisor and customer queries relating to availability and pricing
• Monitor the sales invoicing for Fertiplant business
• Liaise with Production staff to confirm product availability
• Arrange the delivery of stock to Crop Advisers and customers
• Creation of purchase requisitions to Bulk and transport suppliers
• Assist with quality control investigations.
• Ensure timeous resolution of Crop Advisor and customer complaints
• Requests for new inventory item codes
• Updating of Crop Adviser and Customer price lists
• Communicate and update Crop Adviser pricing with Retail Commercial Co-ordinators
• Act as backup for Bulk Nutrition Business Manager and Operation Support Administrator.

Qualifications & Experience    

• Minimum education Grade 12
• A post-matric qualification in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Inventory Management or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in distribution, production and warehousing
• Previous experience in stock management systems e.g. Syspro or SAP R3 is required
• Must have a sound knowledge of the international market
• Computer literate MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of .NET advantageous.
• Must be knowledgeable of all Acts, i.e. hazardous chemicals, road transportation, etc.
