What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

• In this role, you will engage in various phases of projects including feasibility studies, basic and detailed design, procurement, and construction, specifically within the Renewable Energy sector focusing on Solar PV Plants.
• You will act as a discipline lead, manage project scope, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Your role will also involve interdisciplinary interfacing, managing change, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for cost estimating, developing project schedules, and creating engineering packages that adhere to client and international standards.

What you’ll need

• To succeed in this role, you should have a completed National Diploma or a B.Eng/BSc. in Civil Engineering, complemented by at least 5 years of design and draughting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with additional experience in Prokon, Civil 3D, and MS Projects being advantageous.
• Your technical writing skills, computer literacy, and experience in the renewable energy sector will be crucial.
