    Cisco Associate Alliance Specialist

    • Identifies and develops key account alliances and relationship programs designed to produce sales opportunities.
    • Recruits, develops, and manages strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines and ensures the retention, growth, and customer satisfaction of accounts.
    • Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships.
    • Evaluate program trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
    • Work toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of the overall strategic benefits of the alliance.
    • Provides for financial analyses, long-range forecasting, and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships.
    • Monitors programs to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance.
    • Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement.

    Working at NTT

    • The primary responsibility of Partner/Vendor Alliances Specialists is to work in collaboration with various stakeholders to contribute to the achievement of revenue targets by implementing alliance/vendor partnership plans that are robust and competitive.

    Key Roles and responsibilities

    Cisco Refresh (Refurb) Programme:

    • Drive Cisco Refresh value proposition with Sales, Pre-sales, sales support teams in all MEA regions.
    • Achieve Quarterly targets for Cisco Refresh programme.
    • Liaise with marketing teams to assist with branding and awareness of the Cisco Refresh programme.

    Partner Programmes & Promotions:

    • Train new sales and sales support staff on Vendor P&P’s and CCW.
    • Support/Assist staff with registering Cisco Deals.
    • Test new promotions – ensure correct discounts are pulling through and highlight the issues/errors with the Cisco program managers.
    • Summarise relevant P&P’s and create cheat sheets and check lists.

    Manage Staff Vendor portals access requests:

    • Email instructions to new staff and assist with the registration process.
    • Assist with access errors.

    Vendor Deal reporting:

    • Run the “deals registered” report every week.
    • Check for errors and investigate/correct the deals (i.e. “More Information Required” issues).
    • Monitor deals registered by AM’s that have left DD and “share” deals with new AM.
    • Dashboard – ensure that all order qualifying orders are receiving maximum discount from Cisco – no orders processed at 42% discount.

    Manage Vendor order errors:

    • Assist the procurement team with Cisco order issues

    Key recommendations and requirements work experience:

    • 2-4 years’ work experience.
    • No degrees required but having a degree would be beneficial.

    Key abilities:

    • Analytical thinker.
    • Aptitude to understand and problem solve.
    • Assertive, influential and persuasive.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Good people skills.
    • Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders at diverse levels.
    • Ability to engage effectively in difficult situations.
