Cellular Executive at PEP

ROLE OVERVIEW 

• A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, energetic and industry-savvy leader exists in our Commercial department. 
• The ideal candidate will be tasked with influencing and executing the strategic roadmap of the Cellular department, building strong relationships and enabling cross functional collaboration to ensure effective implementation of strategic plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Determine and execute the company’s Cellular strategy 
• Responsible for the overall operational management and performance of Cellular
• Grow the company’s market share in the Cellular industry
• Grow the company’s device & accessories import strategy
• Conclude commercial and contractual negotiations
• Research, identify and develop new business opportunities within Cellular
• Execute on approved business plans and strategy
• Manage projects from inception to execution
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and coach members of the Cellular team
• Facilitate culture, values and principles inline with that of the company

Requirements

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

• Business related qualification at a tertiary level
• Minimum 8 years senior management experience required
• Experience in the Cellular industry
• Proven track record of managing teams
• Minimum of 5 years retail experience required
• Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills
• Ability to leverage data and financial analysis to understand problems, identify options, inform decisions and drive targeted outcomes 
• A good understanding of IT systems and digital platforms
• Good judgement, together with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 
• The ability to influence across various levels and functions within the business 
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within, as well as outside the company 
• Experience in managing projects end to end
• Competent at operating independently
