Responsibilities
What we're looking for:

We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful incumbent will: 

• Analyze and optimize business processes.
• Analyst required to ensure our operations are timely, efficient and cost-effective through management of all stock transfer or customer delivery activities.
• Analyze trends to ensure that we are optimizing our customer service delivery and
• Manage the process to effectively deal with non-profitable routes and add explore white spaces with the opportunity for additional customers.
• Engage the BU stake holders into regular reviews and conversations to increase our distribution footprint and route spatial design.
• Design and monitor KPI dashboards across multiple BU’s.
• Mapping the business processes and align with the PGT requirements.

Accountabilities:

• Analyze existing processes and identify areas for optimization of people, process, and technology. Evaluate the end-to-end processes and related sub processes.
• Facilitate business process mapping sessions, analyze processes, risk, and recommend controls or actions to mitigate the risk.
• During the process analysis document policies and procedures pertaining to the process.
• When evaluating a business process evaluate operational history, reporting needs and advise on standard reporting KPI’s supporting the process.
• Making recommendations to management for opportunities or improvements, evaluating the history and future forecasted savings or business plans in motivation.
• Review and maintain policies and procedures for the business processes.
• facilitate individual monthly workshops with the BU’s to analyze the route to market with specific attention to the execution of the spatial plan and unprofitable routes.
• Overlay of the spatial plan and identification white spaces that can be explored.
• Analyze the unprofitable routes facilitate the discussions with the BU’s to optimize the opportunities.
• Implement business projects and functionality deployment.
• Implement standards and process improvements across BU’s.
• Analyze the risk and propose business rules or controls that govern the process.
• Maintain detailed documentation of processes and procedures.
• Perform regular system reviews and ensure the best practice are followed.
• Implementation of new business units.
• Responsible for compiling training literature and where necessary conducting the training.
• Liaison between business and SAP partners. (Service no longer provided by BCX or Group IT)
• Analyze system requirements and perform user acceptance testing and confirm that the quality standards are met.
• Integration testing between different system platforms
• Program quality testing (UAT- testing)
• Direct store delivery (DSD) process and system support – unique to bakeries.
• Provide training and support to users.
• Perform user acceptance testing for any DSD related system changes.
• Regularly review the performance of the mobility process and device usage.
• Assist BU’s with difficult account clearing issues, investigate driver differences and recommend corrective system actions and oversee the system updates.
• Participate and evaluate in any activities regarding the integration between DSD and Rapid trade or other integrated platforms.
• Governance Risk and compliance (GRC)
• Perform yearly User Risk Analysis and mitigation.
• Resolve segregation of duty issues.
• Provision user access requests for SAP, BI and EWM.
• Request purchasing authorization amendments.
• Ensure the governance and authorizations is in support of the control environment.
• Reporting and data needs.
• Investigate and deliver reporting needs expressed by management.
• Design and implement supporting dashboards for KPI’s
• Gather information for hoc requests for data or reports.
• Compile reporting templates for business.
• Help achieve business objectives by monitoring the objectives and KPI’s.
• Analyze customer service targets, supporting the improvement agenda.
• Control Self-Assessment monitoring (GCS).
• Follow up overdue controls.
• Compile monthly KPI reports.
• Review the effective monitoring and tracking of the order to cash cycle across BU’s.
• Review the weekly highlighted variances and add commentary for the order to cash process KPI’s and ensure it is followed up by the BU’s.
• Complete and send out the DRM service-related information with commentary and follow up the variances with the BU’s.
• Review the weekly actions dashboards for follow up on progress on the agreed actions.
• Review the monthly master data KPI reports and include the relevant data into the monthly report for the MBR meeting.

Qualifications

• At least four years previous Business Analysis experience within FMCG environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and SAP & business systems (MES, HMI)
• Above normal Excel and Power BI skills is essential.
• Attention to detail.
• Experienced in working with tight deadlines and making own decisions to manage tasks.
• A good team player that is flexible and is flexible to help with any emergency and company needs
• The role requires the analysis data patterns and to identify trends to ensure we are optimizing our processes and systems.
