Technical Work Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.
• Bank reconciliations, monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
• Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
• Prepares fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
• Reconciles Accounts to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12
• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping

Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience in full Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet

Requirements

• Advanced computer skills
• Willing to work overtime.
• SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
• Driver’s license
• Own car
• Minimal/Moderate/Excessive overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required.
