What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

• 8 years of audit management experience linked to managing audit teams in delivery of assurance projects and internal audit governance related activities.
• NQF level 7 (Degree in Auditing or Finance)
• Experience in the development of annual audit plans, including managing the delivery of the audit plan execution and reporting.
• Exposure to internal audit capability development, capability assessments and driving the execution of technical training plans
• Experience in managing the execution of a continuous audit and monitoring capability
• Exceptional communication skills

Advantageous:

• Certification in Internal Audit (CIA) or CISA or CA(SA)
• Post-graduate qualification in auditing or finance

What you will be doing

• Proactively managing the delivery of the annual audit plan
• Building effective and respected relationships with audit customers
• Measuring effectiveness of audits plan delivery against business goals and risk mitigation
• Creating a collaborative partnership with business
• Maximizing the use of the Audit Systems for the teams
• You’ll create the Audit Standardised Governance Documents & Workpapers
• You'll leverage Audit Management and Business Management to ensure Customer Requirements are met
