Audit Manager - Bloemfontein at Forvis Mazars Group

Job Description    

• The purpose of the role will be to perform audit related duties, manage the audit team, provide direction, supervision and review for each audit assignment. Furthermore, to be responsible to ensure overall audit quality standards are met for all engagements. Supporting business development and building client relationships will also be key aspects of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Your duties will be, but not limited to the following:
 Individual

•  Produce client reports (AFS, Minutes, Certificates, Management letter)
• Finalisation / Proposed audit opinion
• Manage individual productivity.

 Results

• Budget management
• Audit file and related reports (varies between levels with regard to extent and quality of finalization): Review, finalisation & presentation to partner.
• Reviewed tax returns.

Management

• Job plotting
• Audit plan
• Develop audit budgets and continuance assessment documents.
• Monitors performance against budget
• On-going review of work (of level below) during audit field work – technical quality, timeousness and productivity
• Work allocation

Leadership

• Performance evaluation, reviewing and feedback on work reviewed to staff.
• Coaching
• Role model the organizational culture and instil culture in others.
• Motivated team
• Clients

Manage client relationships.

Minimum Requirements    

• CA(SA) qualifications
• Minimum 2 to 3 years post articles experience
