    Assistant Auctions Coordinator

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 

    • Grade 12 with at least 3 years’ experience in an Agricultural and highly functional administrative environment
    • Good administrative, technology and numeracy skills
    • Excellent computer literacy in MS office applications
    • Be willing to travel frequently and work after-hours
    • Must be able to perform under severe pressure
    • Hardworking, punctuality, attention to detail and good teamwork
    • Must be fully bilingual (English/Afrikaans) and understand and communicate in Afrikaans to a large extent
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Ability to work independently with internal motivation

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure accurate administrative processes
    • Planning and coordination of auction administration
    • Managing and coordination of digital marketing such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok
    • Investigate renewable marketing strategies for auctions
    • Responsible for the compilation of catalogues and digital catalogues
    • Compilation and distribution of pamphlets and catalogues for auctions
    • Gathering of information and documentation required for auctions
    • Responsible for advertising of auctions
    • Ensure a positive image of the organisation through professional, effective and efficient client services
    • Distribution of marketing material to relevant parties on time
    • Asset register – Responsible for stocktaking and maintenance of asset registers
    • Maintenance - ensure that equipment and promotional materials are in good condition
    • Gathering and editing of digital content for Digital Catalogues
    • Gathering of producer information to ensure accurate record keeping
    • Compilation of advertising schedules
    • General administrative duties and finalizing of auctions
    • Ad hoc responsibilities
