    About the Role

    • As a Security Engineer at LexisNexis, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding the company from cyber threats. Your participation in a dedicated team will be focused on ensuring the security of our business, maintaining operational confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitoring alerts, investigate potential incidents and take mitigating action across all parts of LexisNexis.
    • Perform/review security scans and provide guidance, to support teams on the resultant issues, across LexisNexis applications.
    • Writing and reviewing portions of analysis of incidents or threats that put LexisNexis at Risk of harm.
    • Assisting in gathering and analysing metrics that drive prioritized action and identification of trends that need addressing.
    • Supporting audit activities through the collation and validation of evidence.
    • Keeping abreast of new technology developments and the security challenges they present.

    Requirements

    • Possess a bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering or related field. Alternatively, a bachelors Psychology or related field with a solid background/understanding of technology.
    • Possess Excellent communication and influencing skills.
    • Base knowledge of Cyber and Information security.
    • Have basic understanding of IT security industry standards
    • Possess Basic knowledge of IT network concepts and processes.
    • Have Basic technical problem-solving skills.
