    Aspire Tech Graduate Security Engineer I (Compliance)

    About the Role 

    • As a Security Engineer, in our Security Compliance team, you will play a crucial role in building and implementing governance frameworks tailored to our on-premise and SaaS environments.  Your participation in a dedicated team will be focused on ensuring the security of our business, maintaining operational confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

    Responsibilities 

    • Collaborate across the organization on the verification of adherence to technology and cybersecurity controls
    • Track compliance issues and ensure that teams effectively remediate any identified concerns
    • Writing and reviewing portions of analysis of incidents or threats that put LexisNexis at Risk of harm
    • Assist in gathering and analysing metrics that drive prioritized action and identification of trends that need addressing
    • Supporting audit activities through the collation and validation of evidence  
    • Keeping abreast of new technology developments and the security challenges they present. 

    Requirements 

    • Possess Excellent communication and influencing skills.
    • Possess a bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering or related field, with a solid background/understanding of technology.
    • Bachelor’s with a strong background/understanding of technology. 
    • Base knowledge of Cyber and Information security standards
    • Base level of technical problem-solving skills
