Andrology Administrator - Centurion at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• To ensure the efficient and professional handling of patient interactions and administrative tasks at the care center.

Requirements:

• Grade 12  (Required)

Required Experience:

• 2 or more years' experience working on a Laboratory Information System  (LIS) within a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone calls promptly and handle patient inquiries professionally., Capture request forms on the Meditech system in order to ensure sufficient recording and storage of information.,
• Edit and update requisitions on the Meditech system in order to ensure that requisition information is complete, relevant and accurate., Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all patients.,
• Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Perform debtors and creditors functions in order to ensure processing of payments., Perform general administrative tasks to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurately filed and accessible.,
• Provide accurate information about the care centre’s services., Receive specimens to ensure correct handling, preparation and distribution of specimen., Schedule and manage patient appointments.
