    Agile Coach - Johannesburg

    Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with Release Train Engineers, Business Owners, Leaders, Executives, and other Lean-Agile coaches to help them embody an agile mind-set and implement Lean-Agile practices.
    • Exposes leaders and organisations to the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the Agile community to increase agility.
    • Understand where the Organisation is within their agile journey and employ the right approach to take them to the desired maturity.
    • Leverage multiple frameworks and developmental models to provide a customised coaching approach to the organisation and individuals.
    • Enable strong and fast feedback loops.
    • Use data (productivity, team health and value delivery metrics) skilfully to assess and guide the organisation to better agility.
    • Embody agile principles and lead by example.
    • Increase collaboration, predictability, transparency, and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation.
    • Demonstrate and value honesty, fairness, openness and listening abilities.
    • Mentorship - Sharing knowledge, skills and perspectives that foster personal and professional growth for others (formally and informally).
    • Engage in internal initiatives where relevant.
    • Share knowledge with peers and actively participate or contribute to the coaching capability 

    Qualifications:

    Essential Qualifications:

    • SAFe Practice Consultant (6.0)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Agile certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, Leading SAFe, Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) or similar - advantageous

    Your expertise:

    • 5-10 years as an Agile Practitioner or Practise Lead, especially at an organisational transformation context or a senior coaching role
    • Proven experience working on agile initiatives
    • Knowledge of Agile at scale
    • Solid understanding of Lean, Scrum and Kanban
    • Senior Agile Coaching Experience advantageous
