    Administrative Assistant - Audit (Durban)

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Moore Durban seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks. As an Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with our audit professionals and provide essential administrative support to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

    Minimum Requirements    
    Qualifications:

    • National Senior Certificate (NSC)
    • A Diploma or Degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
    • Minimum Requirements
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
    • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with audit processes or accounting principles is an advantage.

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Document Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining audit files, documents, and records in both electronic and physical formats. Ensure that all documentation is accurately labeled, filed, and easily retrievable.
    • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference calls for audit team members. Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and presentations as needed.
    • Communication: Respond to emails, phone calls, and inquiries from clients, team members, and external parties. Direct messages to appropriate individuals and ensure timely follow-up.
    • Report Preparation: Format and proofread audit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents. Collaborate with audit professionals to ensure accuracy and consistency in presentation.
    • Client Support: Assist in managing client interactions, including arranging client meetings, addressing inquiries, and maintaining positive relationships.
    • Travel and Logistics: Make travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, for audit team members who are engaged in off-site assignments.
    • Expense Tracking: Monitor and maintain expense reports, invoices, and billing information. Ensure timely processing and accuracy.
    • Office Operations: Order and manage office supplies, equipment, and materials. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
    • Administrative Tasks: Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, data entry, and filing. Assist with special projects as assigned.
