Job Description

• The IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a lecturer (Independent Contractor) within the School of Management for second semester in 2023.

Minimum Education Requirements: 

• Ideal: Honours/Post-graduate qualification in Financial Accounting. 
• Alternatively: Bachelor degree in one of the Business-related fields with Financial
• Accounting to at least 2nd year level plus a post graduate qualification in business or education or an MBA.

Minimum Experience Required: 

• Lecturing experience in financial accounting.
• Work experience as an accountant or financial manager for a company, group or as an individual
• Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level
• Previous lecturing experience within tertiary environment is advantageous
• Current industry knowledge is essential
