Accountant at Obaro

Responsibilities:

•  Record keeping of accounting transactions;
•  Monthly analysis and reporting;
•  Balance sheet reconciliations;
•  Calculation & submission of VAT and dividend tax;
•  Monthly EMP201 submission and SARS correspondence;
•  Monthly provisions, salary and general journals;
•  Approve daily payments on bank;
•  Reconcile inter-group loan accounts;
•  Weekly group cash position;
•  Reconcile related parties;
•  Internal & external audit process assistance;
•  Compilation of working papers for financial statements;
•  Annual XBRL reports;
•  Annually IRP5 Submission;
•  General accounting & bank administration; and
•  To perform tasks accurately as set out by management.

Skills, Qualifications and General Requirements:

•  BCom Accounting qualification or busy studying towards BCom Accounting degree will be advantageous, with 3 year relevant experience;
•  Accurate and detail oriented;
•  Fluent in Afrikaans and English;
•  Computer literate and knowledge of the MS Office package;
•  Excellent Excel skills;
•  Be able to perform under pressure; and
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
