    Account Manager

    Role Overview:

    Client Management:

    • The account manager will facilitate the onboarding of new clients, including obtaining access to their ad accounts, introducing them to the team, and ensuring they have a smooth initial experience with the processes.
    • They will share content and copy with clients for approval, gather feedback, and ensure the team implements the necessary changes.
    • The role involves managing a portfolio of 8-15 clients simultaneously.
    • The account manager will send monthly invoices to clients and ensure timely payments.

    Client Meetings:

    • They will conduct weekly meetings with each client, lasting up to an hour, to discuss performance, task progression, and next steps.
    • The account manager will prepare agendas to cover previous and upcoming tasks before meetings.
    • They will send meeting minutes to clients immediately after calls and update Asana with action points.

    Media Buying:

    • The candidate should have a strong understanding of Meta and Google Ads to explain media buying performances.
    • They will provide basic suggestions on media buying strategies and content ideas during client calls.
    • Although not responsible for running campaigns, direct experience managing Meta and Google Ads is required.

    Client Reporting:

    • They will record a Loom video each week to explain weekly results, present new ideas, and report on tests conducted (with content provided by the Head of Strategy).
    • The account manager will deliver detailed monthly reports on the performance of emails and ads on the first of each month.

    Communication and Character:

    • The candidate should communicate excessively and chase tasks diligently to ensure early completion.
    • Exhibiting an infectious positive energy that uplifts others is important.
    • Going above and beyond to ensure client happiness and satisfaction is expected.
    • The account manager should maintain confidence in front of the camera, even under pressure or challenging client inquiries.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills are required.

    Desired Experience:

    • The ideal candidate should have prior experience as an account manager within a digital marketing agency.
    • Proficiency in managing ads on Meta (Facebook) and Google is essential.
    • The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, exuding energy and charisma.
    • A meticulous approach and thorough note-taking are required.
    • A strong motivation to help charities and NGOs make a difference in the world is essential.
