Job description

Purpose of the Role

To creatively contribute to the design and development of new and existing digital advertising campaigns.

With guidance from the Creative Team, provide support during the design process from developing the concept to the rollout of digital campaigns and sourcing/designing of design assets i.e. stock photography info graphics.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• A relevant tertiary qualification (degree/diploma) in Design (i.e. Applied Art or Design) from a recognised institution (e.g. Red and Yellow, Vega)

Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience in a digital creative environment
• Proven experience in coordinating the work of external design studios/ agency environments (5-15 people)

Knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of the advertising and creative process; Application of a brand across all mediums; Technical knowledge of all industry standard applications, including: MS Office. Creative Cloud, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
• Excellent visual design skills, focusing on details and quality
• Creative thinking
• Flexibility in design style
• Able to articulate complex concepts and bluesky-thinking into simple and practical design
• Must be able to show polished portfolio work with a range of design and development projects and explain processes and end goals
• Computer literate (Mac (specifically, Adobe Creative Cloud), HTML 5 and basic Microsoft Office)
• Communication skills (verbal and written) in English
