Looking to compliment the team with your customer-facing, effective and timely accounting services and commercial support to the Africa Regional Director.

Qualification:

CA (SA)

Skills & Experience:

• More than 6 years’ experience as a post-qualified Accountant
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Management role
• Management of an ERP System (SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of international Publishing/Creative Media/Education industry involved
• Excellent people management skills
• Maintaining and building positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Statutory reporting and returns across multiple jurisdictions
• Credible and confident communicator with experience of working with a high degree of autonomy in an international matrix organization
• Delivery change successfully in a complex environment
• Delivery of continuous improvement to finance processes and controls

Job Description:

• Providing effective Commercial support to the Africa Regional Director
• Maintaining a knowledge of statutory financial and legislative regulations in the Africa region
• Overseeing all transactional processing teams in a regional Shared Service environment
• Supporting business growth through funding, banking arrangements and working capital management
• Timely and effective financial reporting
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensuring the businesses ethical standards and financial control guidelines are upheld
