    JOB DETAILS

    DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing

    OCCUPATIONAL CATEGORY:Service and Sales Workers

    FAIS : Yes

    FAIS ACCREDITATION: RE 5 Required

    PURPOSE: To generate revenue by retaining current customers and their dependants as well as maintaining existing member company’s business from both class IV and XIII.

    JOB PROFILE

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12
    • NQF5 (FSB recognised qualification)
    • FAIS accreditation RE5 (Advantageous)

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 1 years Sales experience
    • Basic knowledge and work experience of the funeral and/or insurance environment

    CERTIFICATES

    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential lapses; soliciting new
    • accounts; building rapport; providing technical information, product presentation, and
    • preparing quotations.
    • Pull out report on dependants turning 21 and 25 to meet or exceed budgeted net gross margin requirements.
    • Issue new policies within 90 days of first contact.
    • Assist customers to extend cover either manually or through our web site as required.
    • Communicate Cooling off periods, Debit order dates; and Premium waivers.
    • Grow existing book by checking customer's buying history and offer Flips (upsell);
    • suggesting related and new value added services/ products; explaining technical features.
    • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards;
    • Recommending improved solutions and aggregates as per TCF
    • Update job knowledge by learning new categories of products RMA sells, including competitive analysis.
    • Participate in educational opportunities both internal and external to maintain CPD as per FSB
    • Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and continuous improvement requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the position.
    • Perform any ad hoc duties as and when required
