Demand Planner at RB

Job description

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Demand Planner to join RB’s Supply Services team.

This role is responsible to harness RB’s knowledge and resources to produce sales forecasts that will be used in Sales & Operations Planning. As a driven and dynamic individual you will drive continuous improvement of the sales forecasting processes and systems to ensure forecast accuracy. You will be required to develop and manage the rules for order acceptance and forecast consumption. As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic Supply Services team, you will work closely with various stakeholders including operations, NPD and Supply Chain to ensure consistent and cost- effective supply of products to our customers.

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with statistical and forecasting fundamentals.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel with proficiency of software systems preferred.
• Minimum 5 years Supply Chain experience in the FMCG industry.
• Educated to minimum Bachelor’s Degree level in Supply Chain or relevant field.
• Must be a RSA citizen.
