The Process Coach (Machining) is repsonsible for leading, coaching and managing a well balanced cross-functional team, compromising of Production,Maintenance and Engineering to the Ford's Production System standards and processes.
Position Details:
- Ensure production targets are met as outlined in Saftey,Quality,Delivery,Cost,People,Morale, Environment ( FPS elements) Policy Deployment.
- Maintain discipline & standardized process in work areas as outlined in Operator Instruction Sheet, Work Element Sheet, Work balance Boards procedures.
- Understand, Implement & Manage Ford’s Production System (FPS).
- Manage absenteeism levels, employee versatility & manning assignments in area of responsibility.
- Maintain the areas Quality Operating System (QPIP)
- Participate in Global Eight elements(Quality Tool), FTT = First Time Through concern resolution
- Understand, Analyze & React to Production Operating System Management Tool Top Issues
- Support & Filter data for Constraint Reviews.
- Enforce Company Safety Regulations, Departmental Housekeeping, & Environmental Standards maintaining a healthy & safe work environment (i.e. ISO 9000 / ISO 14000 & TS 16949 procedures Confirm standards are in place
- Assist to Escalation 1 issues and drive cross functional resolution
- Plan changes to the system - Through Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
- Manage changes to the system - Support Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and coach problem resolution to the lowest level.
- Communication and Recognition - Build Team Leader capability

Qualifications & Experience:

´ National Diploma /Degree Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or Relevant Qualification

Minimum of 2-3 years within the Automotive Industry.
