Enterprise Systems Manager at e4 Strategic

Job description

Purpose:

Responsible for leading a team of network administrators responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the organisation’s networks (data, voice, text, email, facsimile and image)

including resolution of network problems, database backup and restore, production of network performance statistics, provision of network diagnostic information, network security, and site surveys.

Responsible for allocation of tasks, advanced troubleshooting and ensuring repairs are undertaken in accordance with organisational policy and standards

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Provide technical network support to e4’s external Clients;
• Server maintenance and performance monitor;
• Technical server hardware support and maintenance;
• Technology evaluations and assessments;
•  Adapt to changing computing technology concepts and trends;
• Troubleshoot and configure solutions for hardware and OS /Database software problems;
• SCOM and SCCM (or equivalent), setup, maintenance and administration
• Exchange Server 2010 and above, Windows Server 200320082008 R2 and 2012 (Preferable), Windows XP78 Operating Systems, Command Prompt, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Group and Domain Policies, Active Directory, Radius, MS Certificate Services, Terminal server, IIS, Disk imaging software, Remote support concepts, IP printing, Switches (Link Layer 3) and Routers, IP routing, VPNs, MPLS, QOS, NAT, IPSEC, ISDN, E1, Diginet, RAS Firewalls, Gigabit Technology, FDDI and Server room Environmental, Hyper-V and Hyper-V clustering;
• Network experience, including the more popular networking protocols;
• Network concepts and design and LAN configurations;
• Security and anti-virus experience;
• MS SQL server experience;
• Secure availability of all elements of infrastructure, excluding programming;
• Ensure that all components operate at peak efficiencies;
• Protect the physical and data assets of e4;
• Provide end user and desktop support to e4 staff;
• Network document management focus (policy control);
• Dealing with suppliers and procurement for all software and hardware company requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree and the required certification
• 8 – 10 years related experience
