The core purpose of the role of the National Education Manager is to effectively coach the Education Training Specialists and Corporate Trainer and to uphold education as a strategic asset to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively develop, drive and lead Dermalogica SA’S education department and employees in the department.
- Execute and assess education related business planning and strategy both to the trade and consumer.
- Meet company financial objectives through careful and accurate budget planning and effective management thereof.
- Plan, create and ensure effective execution of the education calendar curriculum.
- Manage and grow college market share and college activities.
- Assist in planning and execution of product launches, events and promotions.
- Strategically grow market share and improve educational standards through well planned and effective use of IDI events.
- Preparation and submission of timeous and accurate reports and departmental requirements.
- Provide product information for the actual launch events. Provide workshops/ classes for at least 1 month after a new product has been launched.
- Assist the marketing department with social media information and editorial information.
Requirements:
- Two or three year skin care diploma
- Teachers qualification, five years Dermalogica experience and five years teaching experience with Assessor / Moderator SETA qualification.
- Business Management Degree or Diploma (advantageous).
