    Regional Marketing Performance Analyst

    Job description

    • The Regional Marketing Performance Analyst will support Sage’s data driven marketing approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of business insights that yield deep and actionable understanding of Sage’s marketing performance.
    • They will develop a functional analytics and insight specialism applicable to the whole Sage Marketing organization and be a key point of contact for a specific region within Sage Marketing.
    • The role will focus on how successfully Sage is achieving its marketing goals and targets and delivering actionable marketing insights which can lead to increased campaign performance and additional revenue generating opportunities.
    • This will be achieved through creating and maintaining, across Sage Marketing, a focus on the single Marketing KPI Framework and the one, consistent source of truth Marketing 360 dashboard. Specific attention will be focused on the lower end of the demand funnel (especially on volume, velocity and value), marketing ROI and operational efficiency, campaign impact, awareness, event success and strategic KPIs.
    • The role-holder will be responsible for identifying and agreeing strategic and operational KPIs, developing appropriate dashboards, preparing inputs for regional and global marketing performance reviews, sharing knowledge across their regional focus area and ensuring all marketing roles become proficient in self-service use of dashboards for their own strategic, operational, global, regional and local performance understanding.
    • They will facilitate the single source of the truth for marketing metrics and measurement in close partnership with IS and Finance as defined by marketing leadership. Regular KPI reporting and insights will be clearly communicated to Sage sales and marketing executives.
    • Passionate about insights, continuous learning and understands and can articulate how important data analysis and reporting are to the overall success of the business; communicating a deeper understanding of customers and prospective customers for the benefit of all stakeholders.
    • Track record in B2B environment with understanding of best practice B2B marketing analytic approaches (such as those from Sirius Decisions).
    • Deep understanding of data/data modeling and able to objectively identify insights for sharing with stakeholders.
    • Ability to identify trends and behaviours from sets of complex data and suggest where these can be applied operationally.
    • This person must have the ability to creatively problem solve and perform complex analyses to solve business questions in a timely manner.
    • Professional and polished in communicating with senior leadership and confident in building strong relationships across all management levels.
    • Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills; comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines as the decision maker and the project leader.
    • Results driven.
    • Self-starter.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot table analysis.
    • 3 years + in a Marketing Reporting/Analytics role.
    • Strong working proficiency in English

    An advantage would be:

    • Knowledge and practical use of using SQL.
    • Knowledge of statistical methods or processes.
    • Development experience of Salesforce analytics.
