Role Key responsibilities

• Research and identify lead source opportunities that will involve industrial equipment asset disposal.
• Execute primary and secondary market research using best-practice methodologies to identify and generate high-quality business development opportunities involving industrial equipment asset disposal.
• Engage with internal new business develop team members globally to pass along quality business leads.
• Communicate with potential sales leads via email or phone after a sales campaign to further drive interest with prospective clients.
• Maximize business intelligence gathering and ensuring accurate entry into the research database for all customer contacts.
• Monitor and evaluate research methods, tools and output.

Key requirements

The key requirements for this role include:

• A minimum undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Management or Public Management
• Demonstrate of good communications and engaging personality.
• Demonstration of understanding of the Global 2000 business landscape and EMEA, APAC or US businesses.
• Demonstrated research project management and organisational skills is a prerequisite;
• Familiarity with computer programmes (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel is a prerequisite with MS Project being an added advantage);
• Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in the research or/and sales industry
• EMEA , APAC and Latin American language proficiency would be advantageous.
• Salary range: R260 000 – R290 000 p.a
