    Principal HR Practitioner: ER Specialist

    Job Description
    To provide specialist ER consultation and advice to line managers and employees on Labour Law and relevant ER policies and procedures.

    Context

    • The increased need to be client focused in order to ensure that HR is viewed as strategic business partner.
    • The need to keep up-to date with changes in relevant legislation and to understand the impact thereof on BCX.
    • The need to be aware of new developments in respect of information technology e.g. implementation of SAP HR.
    • The need to provide strategic direction and functional excellence support.
    • The need to have an all-encompassing skills portfolio in order to deliver affective HR support.
    • The need to .be aware of the impact of organisational restructuring and change management.
    • The need to comply with the information, communication and Technology charter at all timesCustomers

    Desired Skills and Experience
    Educational Background:

    • Grade 12, NQF Level 4 plus post graduate Honours in HR/Industrial Psychology (NQF Level 7)
    • Masters in Law, NQF Level 8 is recommended

    Previous Experience:

    • 6 yrs relevant HR Experience
    • 3 years generalist ER Experience
