Job description

Job Purpose:

Co-ordinate and controls processes associated with maintaining compliance with standards and bylaws in respect to water supply installation works.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Co-ordinates tasks/activities associated with the implementation of procedures and monitoring and reporting on sequences/outcomes.
• Applies technical procedures and applications to interpret and provide comments/guidelines on water supply and installation.
• Co-ordinates processes to assess the status of individual household, business and informal settlements in respect of water installations.
• Performs specific administrative tasks/activities associated with the updating and maintaining records/information.
• Checking details of transactional documentation.
• Coordinate processes based on the City Engineers and Fire Department regulations.
• Assess installations against by-laws and quality standards prior to commissioning water supply and issuing certification.
• Control the execution of onsite inspections.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Artisan Plumber in terms of relevant legislation.
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (Code B).
• Computer Literacy.
• 4 Years relevant experience.
• Preferred Requirements:
• 5 Years relevant experience in the fields of Industrial and Domestic plumbing
