Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of the position is to Design and Development content or material for identified learning interventions. The incumbent plays an important role in ensuring that Soft Skills, Technical and/ or project related material is developed or consistently maintained at an appropriate standard.
Key Performance Objectives
Conduct Learning Needs Analysis
- Clarify business goal and link to learning program objectives.
- Agree the scope of the learning objectives
- Articulate learning/administration requirements.
- Determine strategies/tools for transferring learned skills to the workplace.
- Determine the target participants, program entry requirements, participant characteristics and special needs.
- Determine extent of learning/participant knowledge/skill assessment required.
- Determine the tasks currently performed by target participants and level of performance required following the training
- Estimate program design, development, implementation and evaluation costs, effort required and schedule.
Experience and Technical Competencies
- Minimum 5years experience in Content Design and development
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Instructional Design and Development
- Technical and Product Knowledge design and development
- Customer Service and Soft Skills design and Development
- Industry Knowledge and partnering to design and develop a learning intervention.
- Has contributed towards or development or Change management plans.
- Advanced Written and spoken communication Skills.
