    Digital Experience Manager

    Job Description

    Job purpose:

    Sage is transforming its digital experiences and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team at the forefront of this transformation. You’ll have a creative approach to developing positive user experience and an obsession with data & analytics. You’ll be responsible for executing testing & optimisation strategies and nurturing a customer focussed culture of optimisation across digital marketing.

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

    • Spearheading the use of the latest tools and techniques to analyse, test, personalise and optimise Sage’s web experiences.
    • Helping to influence and shape the global testing and optimisation strategy.
    • Developing a deep understanding of our online customer journeys – optimise, personalise and simplify top journeys.
    • Implementing a continuous programme of regional site-wide user testing, A/B and multivariate testing to drive conversion and KPIs.
    • Partnering regional and local web strategy, content, search, media and wider teams, to plan and execute activities aligned to primary business segments.
    • Ensuring a data driven, analytical approach to usability enhancements.
    • Regular reporting of user testing and optimisation results, plans and sharing key insights.
    • Embedding a test and learn culture into the marketing organisation.
    • Influencing content and website development, and briefing changes to the content and development teams.

    Key performance indicators:

    • Conversion rates
    • MQLs/Pipeline
    • Subscriptions/Revenue

    Skills, know-how and experience:

    Must have:
    Significant demonstrable experience in digital marketing and of managing the development of large multi-region, multi-tiered testing & optimisation practices.

    • Experience of conceiving, planning, implementing and learning from optimisation, testing, usability and targeting initiatives.
    • Experience of working with design and web agencies.
    • Analytically minded, with proven history of analysing highly trafficked, multi-country/product web environments through to conversion and revenue.
    • Great communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders globally, think strategically, and positively influence business direction.
    • Experience of improving UX across desktop and mobile devices.

    Preferred:

    • Proven experience of nurturing a culture of optimisation across website testing, targeting, personalisation and usability & experience research.
    • Working knowledge of personalisation, major analytics and optimisation tools.
    • Project and time management tool experience with proficiency across both disciplines.

    Technical / professional qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
    • Proficiency in English language, verbal and written.

    Local, Campaign and New Customer Marketing teams.
