    About The Role

    Overall management and development of the psychometrics and competency assessments to internal and external clients, as well as general consulting and managing a psychology division.

    Essential Skills And Experience

    • 10 years’ experience as an Executive Consultant in psychometric and competence assessments and consulting psychology
    • Proficient with assessment feedback and report writing to executive level
    • Exposure to business simulations (case studies, role plays etc)
    • Ability to conduct the following assessments: Jung Type Indicators, GIOTTO, Tools, CPP, Savil Wave, Psytech Tools, 16 PF, SHL, Baron EQI, PAPI, Speex,
    • Ability to conduct skills audits
    • 15 years’ experience gained in Public Sector Departments
    • Management experience to executive level
    • Budget development and management
    • Team management
    • Exposure and lecturing to university students to masters level
    • Supervision of psychometrists and interns
    • Computer literate
    • Self-motivated, pay attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and managerial skills.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Analytical and solution driven.
    • Pro-active and committed to delivery.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Sound presentation skills
    • Financial acumen

    Required Qualifications

    • Matric
    • Degree in Psychology
    • Honours and Masters (Psychology)
    • Formal Project Management Qualification
    • Registered with the Health Professional Council

    Responsibilities

    • Psychometric and Competency Assessments:
      • Define and customise assessments for recruitment, selection, development and performance enhancement purposes
      • Team profiling and analysis, coaching, skills audits, 360 degree surveys, team and talent development, and career mapping
      • Design and implementation of leadership assessments
      • EQ assessments and developmental planning
      • Competency framework development and assessment centre design
    • Talent Management
      • Structured talent management linking outcomes of assessments with onboarding, engagement and retention of staff through to the implementation of training, development and coaching to maximise talent in organisations
      • Design, training and facilitation of skills programmes such as interview skills, emotional intelligence, peer coaching etc.
      • Lecturing to university students (up to masters level)
    • Organisational Development
      • Organisational structure to maximise efficiency and delivery through skills audits
    • Culture And Behaviour
      • Design and implementation of culture and engagement surveys
      • Processes to create positive organisation culture and engagement to enable the organisation and people to flourish
    • Change Management
      • Structured change processes linked to vision, burning platforms, desired state and action plans to ensure change happens.
    • Project Management
      • Plan and implement big projects within an Internationally Accredited Project Methodology like Prince 2
      • Management of project teams
      • Reporting to project sponsors
      • Budget Development And Management
      • Planning and management of budgets against targets
    • Team Management
      • Supervision of psychometrists and interns
      • Supervision and performance management of general staff
    • Business Development
      • Developing and writing proposals/tenders and presenting proposed solutions to clients
      • Marketing and networking HR and assessment solutions to clients
