Job Purpose:

To provide a strategic direction, support and advice to the DCM, Cluster, political structures and Communities on matters of service delivery.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Formulates a strategic business case to support the alignment of the Cluster with current and future economic trends, in alignment with the City's IDP.
• Plans and coordinates the budget estimates and monitoring expenditure against the approved budgets.
• Plans and controls the Procurement Management functions.
• Provides professional expertise in the performance of the Cluster.
• Directs critical processes associated with the development of programmes and projects for sustainability of interventions.
• Interacts internally and externally, disseminating technical and professional information with recommendations, solutions and alternatives on proposed and current projects and activities of the Cluster.
• Prepares management reports inclusive of business case proposals and, interim consolidated reports on the functions, performance and contribution of the functionality.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification. (Degree or Diploma).
• Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code B).
• 6 years relevant experience.
• Preferred Requirements:
• Relevant post graduate qualification.
• 8 years relevant experience.
