    Marketing Coordinator Internship

    Job description

    Role Summary

    This internship is for an ambitious, self-motivated marketing individual who wants to cut their teeth in a hands-on environment where every day is about using tactical marketing, digital marketing & content strategy to nurture the power of Sonic Telecoms’ brand to bring the company closer to its business target. The position will report into the Marketing & Sales Management Team where the pursuit of excellence, constant learning and a passion for critical thinking is the heartbeat of the team culture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Brand Coordination - briefing and managing offline marketing & sales material.
    • Offline Activations - conceptualising and executing offline events in line with marketing & sales targets.
    • Content Strategy & Marketing - conceptualising, creating, executing and measuring content marketing campaigns across email, social & SMS targeting engagement rate, reach & positive brand feedback.
    • Social Media Management & ORM - daily monitoring of conversation around Sonic Telecoms and optimise the sentiment score on a weekly basis.
    • Blogging & Content Creation - owning the Sonic Telecoms blog channel, creating educational and relevant content to grow the audience.
    • NPS Surveys - responsible for the formulation, timeous deployment and analysis of net promoter score surveys and constructing campaigns to target problem areas.
    • Customer Success on Social Media - coordinating with support department to escalate, nurture & solve any customer queries via any social platforms.
    • Conducting market analysis and research projects
    • Performance Marketing - Writing copy for PPC marketing campaigns
    • Conceptualizing ideas to raise brand awareness for Sonic Telecoms and its portfolio products.
    • Maintain Social Media Dashboard

    Requirements

    • University degree / diploma in Business, Marketing or Digital Marketing
    • Knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
    • Excellent writing and language ability
    • Strong communication skills and team work ethic
    • Excellent time management
    • Pristine attention to detail
    • Problem-solving ability
    • The determination to see projects through from start to finish
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    Advantageous, but not required, would be:

    • Exposure to a digital content production environment
    • A shareable personal blog, journal or other published writing work
    • Experience with HTML
    • Exposure to CMS software like WordPress
    • Any SEO course qualification
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Exposure & interest in Google Analytics / Data Studio
