Job Purpose:
The Internal Audit Manager provides assurance to Discovery Purple (Proposed Bank) in line with the ‘three lines of defense’ model. The Manager will work with assurance providers to develop and implement an assurance framework to support the delivery of an integrated and efficient audit service. The incumbent will be required to assist in the development of the audit plan, perform fieldwork, develop audit reports and manage stakeholder relationships. The incumbent will also need to have a good understanding of typical banking risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Work Experience
A minimum of three years internal audit experience in retail banking in a similar financial institution is essential. Experience across IT, finance, models, credit and operational risk auditing is essential. Knowledge of the regulatory landscape for Banking is mandatory - experience in regulatory audits for at least two years is required.

Bachelors degree within finance or commerce with audit as a major
