    YC: TMA Technical Support

    • This position is earmarked to Unemployed Youth on a 12 month contract basis. The person applying must comply with the criteria and be registered on the Yes4Youth platform

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Provide technical and/or hands-on assistance as required for SVD day-to-day activities
    • Collect failed components/samples from dealer
    • Inspect/test failed components as required
    • Coordinate with external test laboratories/test houses
    • Influence to use correct test methods, tools
    • Publish timely TMA test reports and escalate roadblocks
    • Collaborate with PQE/ RE / WSL / PQL / SV / QW / WH / Dealer / UDTO / external test Labs
    • Work with AMA parts coordinator to ship parts to supplier location or DC BLR
    • Ensure tools are calibrated at frequent intervals 

    Minimum qualifications

    • National Diploma/ Higher Diploma in Mechanical engineering or BSC
    • Mechanical/Automotive engineering / Electronics / electrical / Mechatronics
    • Driving license B/EB

    YC: Retail Development Analyst

    Responsibilities and Duties

    VMS Payment Process

    • Confirm all the data and documentation has been uploaded on LSS.
    • Verify data integrity.
    • Reconcile payment and follow up with outstanding dealers.
    • Documentation and Recons to be supplied to Business Control for final verification and payment.

    Dealer Reporting Qlik Sense

    • Manage all templates and data capturing for the dealers operational and financial reporting.
    • Uploading of the templates
    • Service Departments: Parts Departments and New Vehicle Sales Reconcile data on system.

    Financial Reporting System

    • Assist with implementing of the reporting system,
    • During the project implementation checks reconciliations will be allocated and where needed support given and information gathering on behalf of the suppliers.

    Minimum qualifications and experiences

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    • At least 2 years’ experience accounting and report writing
    • Multinational company experience is essential
    • Fluent in English, written and spoken
    • PC and MS Office proficient
    • Accounting and Dealer Management System experience

    YC: Support IPS Buyer

    YC: Support APS Buyer

    Responsibilities and Duties 

    • Define and develop segment purchasing strategies.
    • Perform sourcing activities, negotiate agreements and recommend supplier selection in Sourcing governance meetings within UD Trucks Purchasing. Lead cross-functional team to make supplier selection and negotiate agreements.
    • Secure overall good supplier relationship through conducting business review meetings regularly.
    • Monitor market and technology developments and address changes through the strategies
    • Close monitoring of supplier performance and take corrective actions where needed.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, to secure the project deliveries on QDCFTSR for both start-up projects and maintenance projects.
    • Drive continuously on cost improvement activities. Generate cost savings through creativities and cross functional workshops, including engineering, logistics and plant.
    • Drive and achieve the target on MCL/MCE, Delivery Precision, Contract Coverage, Local Content Requirements, BBBEE performance.
    • Track raw material price trends for price adjustment with suppliers.
    • Support to improve the customer focus by jointly solving the quality issues; improve PPM/QPM and QJ lead-time.
    • Closely monitor market developments, trends and the best practices available in the market.
    • Conduct Buyer network meetings with Buyers working on similar portfolio in regular intervals.

    Minimum qualifications and experience :

    • University degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Previous experience in Automotive Purchasing
    • Fluent in English, Strategic orientation, Strong negotiator, Business Acumen, Cost Management, Legal Management, Relevant process & system knowledge, Priority Setting, Integrity and Trust, Drive for results, Customer focus
    • Lead cross-functional team to define and develop segment purchasing strategies.
    • Lead Cost reduction activity Commercial, VA-VE , logistic, Total Delivery Cost.
