    Sales Assistant - Sandton

    The Purpose:

    The Sales Assistant is responsible for store sales, products, inventory and systems.This role must assist with the impeccable execution of retail planning, ensuring the consistent application of business controls. Imperative to the success of this role is meeting financial and service targets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Ability to take the store manager and area manager's instruction and ensure the proper dissemination of business imperatives to staff, ensuring the proper understanding and timeous execution of business plans and monthly targets
    •  Ensure accurate and timeous daily reporting on your store status and compliance requirements to the relevant internal stakeholders
    •  Ensure all in-house retail displays are quality-controlled & brand-aligned, including the store staff's hygiene and appearance.
    •  Ensure to meet your in store daily and monthly targets
    •  Ensure store stock is ordered timeously, and as per your store sales insights (accuracy of size curve, SKU, and color wave as per discussion with your stock controller)
    •  Ensure risk aversion measures are maintained and there is the minimization of store stock loss by influencing store culture to be aligned to the value proposition of the business (i.e. respect, integrity, authenticity, humility, transparency, impact, diversity, and inclusion)

    •  Ensure consistent knowledge by store staff by teaching them and providing they become subject matter experts on Bathu products, systems, customer service, sales, merchandising, cash handling, and policies 
    •  Ensure to conduct morning team meetings to discuss sales performance with all staff
    •  Ensures to complete cash-ups and banking accurately and in good time
    •  Ensure to conduct general housekeeping to ensure the store, stockroom and fixtures are kept neat and tidy, as well as in working order

    Area Manager: Northland Region- Limpopo

    Job Summary

    This role will best suit a proactive, high-energy individual who loves to work with people. You must be unrelenting in ensuring target sales are met and Bathu customers receive the best customer service.

    The Area Manager is responsible for store sales, product, and systems knowledge, leading the impeccable execution of retail planning and ensuring the consistent application of business controls. This includes ensuring the success of all the retail stores within an assigned region in meeting financial and service targets. This Area Manager will oversee stores as per the operational requirements of the business envisaged to be Limpopo, & Mpumalanga.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ability to take senior management instruction and ensure the proper dissemination of business imperatives to store staff, ensuring their proper understanding and timeous execution of business plans and monthly targets.
    • Improve store standards by ensuring to identify and recommend improved service practices and procedures to Headquarters.
    • Ensure consistent engagement with all your retail stores. This includes regular, impact-driven travel to all stores that form part of your region.
    • Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting on the status of your region to headquarters.

    • Ensure consistent product knowledge by retail staff by teaching them and ensuring they become subject matter experts on Bathu’s in store and online offering (i.e. sneakers, gift vouchers, pay just now, etc.)
