Despatch Controller: Fleet at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• To monitor the daily progress of despatching Activities and to co-ordinate urgent unscheduled despatch requests.

Requirements:

• Grade 12, Valid South African drivers licence (Code EB and/or A)

Required Experience:

• Experience as Despatch Controller,
• Knowledge: Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Knowledge: Google and Google Mail,
• Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word,
• Knowledge: National Traffic Rules and Regulations,
• Knowledge: Transport related procedures and processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of Ampath,
• Monitor and co-ordinate the daily despatch  Activities in order to ensure the optimal utilisation of drivers and messengers,
• Monitor the Liquid Nitrogen levels to ensure sufficient stock for the lab employees,
• Perform administrative tasks in order to ensure that the relevant documentation is accurate and accessible
