    Account Manager

    About Job

    Iress is continuing to hire for roles during Covid-19 with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

     

    Are you an engaging sales professional with the ability to build solid relationships and identify new opportunities for growth?

    We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in South Africa who can hit the ground running with developing existing client relationships as well as broadening the client circle by seeking and creating new connections. You will be able to articulate Iress’ roadmaps and enhancements eloquently to users at all levels as well as encourage increased revenue through the introduction of new campaigns.

     

    You will take responsibility and accountability for the financial performance of your managed accounts, programmes and projects as well as monitoring client engagement to ensure our service is optimised. Managing billings for your client base will also fall under your remit and you’ll ensure commercial proposals are approved and accurately documented


    Working closely with internal stakeholders, such as Business Leads and Corporate Account Managers, you will hold a strong understanding of our business and client strategy in order to confidently and effectively drive this initiative forward. You will ensure that your clients are sufficiently skilled in the use of Iress products by leading product demos and front end-user training as well as providing knowledge of new features and enhancements. 

     

    Experience working towards and exceeding agreed revenue targets, ideally within financial services, will be essential and you’ll need to have a natural sense of urgency and willingness to make things happen. Problem solving skills are key and you’ll be confident coordinating and successfully implementing multiple projects in line with stakeholder expectations. Your commercial and competitor awareness and stakeholder management will be utilised daily with communication, adaptability and approachability all being included in the recipe for success. A working knowledge and background of working with trading and portfolio management products and platforms would be highly beneficial.
